Our Partnership with Parents

We believe that a strong partnership between school and home is critical to the success of each student. We nurture our partnership with our dedicated, involved and supportive parents from the start.

We have established programs and practices that reflect the needs of students and families such as an active Parent Council, before and after school child care, a weekly parent newsletter, parent/teacher conferences available at any time, a wide variety of parent volunteering opportunities, school activities that involve families, and more.

Our parents have initiated and actively support vital programs at our school such as our extensive Athletics program, outstanding Robotics Program and the CSA Education Foundation to raise funds to retain and train our teachers. They volunteer in classrooms and work cooperatively with teachers. At home, they support the instruction that occurs in the classroom. Our students benefit from our strong and vital parent/school partnership.

CSA District Parent Council

CSA District Parent Council is a parent-run organization that supports school activities and events. We engage in both FUN-raising and Fundraising, the former by coordinating community-building activities and the latter by raising funds to supplement school resources, promote the District’s educational programs, and support the parent body through education and outreach. CSA District Parent Council is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

Parent Consortium

Parent Consortium is a supportive body for the three parent-run non-profit groups. We provide support and oversight to make sure they operate within their by-laws and the guidelines of 501(c)(3). We strive to assure that the three separate organizations are working collaboratively and jointly to best serve the CSA District community in their separate and distinctive missions.
