Every year, we launch the school year with a District-wide theme that celebrates a milestone or a momentous occasion in our District. Some years, the theme highlights one of our core values, character traits or philosophies. Other years, it reflects something going on in the world around us.

As we reflected on our past accomplishments, one core philosophy emerged as the guiding principle and foundation of all that we do. That core philosophy is this year’s theme: High Expectations.

In our District, high expectations for ourselves and our students are rooted in two core beliefs: that ALL students possess an unlimited potential to learn, and that ALL students have inherent goodness that resides within them.

This year’s theme poster illustrates the famous quote, “Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars.” The ladder depicts the power of our expectations. When students internalize our belief in their goodness and unlimited potential, the sky is the limit. The District’s colors communicate our confidence in students of every age and stage. The 27 stars celebrate CSA District’s 27th year. Since the very beginning, we have held ourselves responsible for providing the best education for your student(s). As always, Charyl Stockwell’s signature coneflower is present, in honor of our District’s namesake.
