Every year, we launch the school year with a District-wide theme that celebrates a milestone or a momentous occasion in our District. Some years, the theme highlights one of our core values, character traits or philosophies. Other years, our theme celebrates a point of pride in our District.

This year, our theme is centered around Character.

At the heart of our school community is a deep commitment to teaching the Whole Child—nurturing academic/intellectual, social/emotional, physical/sensory, and moral/character development.

This year’s school-wide theme, Character, reflects our dedication to helping students grow in three essential areas: strengths of heart, strengths of mind, and strengths of will. Through intentional instruction, modeling, and daily practice, we focus on six core character traits: Respect, Responsibility, Work Ethic, Kindness, Getting Along, and Optimism. These traits guide our interactions, shape our learning environment, and prepare students to thrive as thoughtful, resilient, and caring individuals both inside and outside our schools.
