- Meet the standards and requirements of highly qualified teacher at the secondary level as defined by the State of Michigan.

- Hold more than one secondary endorsement.

- Be aware that their role, behavior, and teaching strategies must stem from our mission and goals, curriculum, and founding beliefs.

- Have experience with project based learning.

- Be flexible and innovative.

- Demonstrate a commitment to designing and using multiple assessments.

- Be responsible for the facilitation of understanding and related habits of mind.

- Coach students to maximize their performance and increase their intellectual capacity.
