Required Qualifications: A valid teaching certificate from the state of Michigan is required for all candidates. In addition, secondary candidates need endorsements in the core subject areas.

Charyl Stockwell Academy School District is a tuition-free, public charter school that currently serves approximately 1,000 students Kindergarten through High School. The academic achievement of our students places our district in the top performing 10% of all schools in the state and has resulted in recognition by the state of Michigan as a Reward School. We are authorized by Central Michigan University and have been recognized by them as a School of Excellence due to high academic achievement. Holding high academic expectations and providing Character Education, CSA District schools offer small class sizes, team teaching and a continuous progress/mastery learning system in non-graded, multi-age classrooms. Ensuring children receive the attention they need in order to succeed, our research-based mixed-ability classrooms serve a wide range of students from special education to gifted.
